So everyone has had the same amount of chance to get a job but that's not how it worked back then. The 1930 was filled with horrific events such as the Stock Market Crash, the Great Depression, and the Dust Bowl.
The store market crash was a horrific event that lead to the great depression. The store market crash had an effect on lots of people in the 1930 because many lost their jobs and many didn't have enough money to buy food or things that they needed. In the text by Cary Nelson it stated¨ The american economy enters a recession during summer of 1929 as consumers stop goods started to pill up¨ This quote shows that when people stopped having enough money to buy thing the market started to pill up all of their goods because there was no room for it to be shelved.
